Hannah + Andrew | Wedding in the tetons | Jackson Wyoming

Summer weekends in the mountains are what dreams are made of. It’s an obvious choice for Hannah + Andrew who have summer memories in this spot and are in awe of its beauty.

I flew to Jackson for the weekend, and was ready to spend some time in the mountains myself. The day before their wedding, it was a beautiful rainy day, it was just the taste of fall that I needed! When the weather forecast for the next day was hot and sunny, I was able to relax in the rain, and just enjoy it. I loved every second!

I went to college about an hour from the Tetons, and spent quite a bit of time in the mountains when I was going to school, so this was extra special for me. They are such unique mountains, and quite literally take your breath away with every sight. During Hannah and Andrew’s first look, I kept pinching myself, it felt like I’d been transported to a summer wedding in the Swiss Alps!

This day couldn’t have been more smooth. The key to that was partially due to their amazing wedding planner (Love Made Weddings), but what was the real treat for them was their bridal party! Bridal parties can make or break a wedding, and this bridal party was IN IT. They were 100% supportive every second, and were totally ready to do the most to make sure everything was perfect for their bride and groom.

Hannah had a very specific vibe and vision, and because she did, she was able to make it happen. Every aspect of this day and detail placed in the day was well thought out, planned and visualized. It’s the coolest thing to understand someone’s vision beforehand, but then see it actually happen. As a photographer, all that I hope to do is to capture that vibe and vision as it happened, and accurately represent how absolutely beautiful it really was.
